1. Scope of Work
This standard will be covered the scope of work, definition, quality control, sampling method, signing method and packaging method of cooking oil.

SNI 01 – 2891 – 1992, How to test food and drinks
SNI 01 – 3555 – 1994, How to test oil and fat
SNI 01 – 2894 – 1992, How to test food material/ food preservatives
3. Definition
Cooking oil is produced by purification of vegetables oil.
4. Quality Control
Quality control of cooking oil is defined as per table below, as follows:

5. Sampling Method
Sampling method is in accordance with SNI 19 – 0429 – 1989, Direction of how to do liquid and semi solid sampling.
6. Testing Method
6.1 Preparation of chemical test sampling
This method is in accordance with SNI 01 – 2891 – 1992, How to test food and drinks, item 4.
6.2 Condition
Testing method is in accordance with SNI 01 – 2891 – 1992, How to food and drinks, item 1.
6.3 Metal contamination/ stain metal
This method is in accordance with SNI 19 – 2896 – 1992, How to test metal contamination/stain metal.
6.4 Arsenic (As)
This method is in accordance with SNI 19 – 2896 – 1992, How to test metal contamination/stain metal.
7. Signing Condition
The signing condition is in accordance with Regulation of Ministry of Health of Republic of Indonesia regarding labeling and food advertisement.
8. Method of Packaging
Cooking oil is packaged in sealed container; with no effect to and by the contents and safety during storage and shipping periods.
