PRICES OF SELECTED COCONUT PRODUCTS AND OILS IN INDONESIA
COPRA
The price of Copra in Indonesia (Surabaya) ranged between US$1,098 and US$1,214/MT in April 2011, relatively higher compared to last month’s average price of US$930/MT. When compared to last year’s data, the average price of copra has increased by 117%.  
COCONUT OIL
The average domestic price of coconut oil in Indonesia in April 2011 also increased to US$1,913/MT from US$1,900/MT in March 2011. The price ranged from US$1,826 to US$1,930/MT/.  
COCONUT SHELL CHARCOAL
The average price of charcoal in Indonesia for April 2011 was US$345/MT, which was US$151 higher than last year’s price for the same month.  
COIR FIBRE
The Indonesian price for mattress (mixed) fiber was US$310/MT in April 2011.
