To anticipate the availibility of coconut flour, Governor will do special technical meeting together with some related agencies when arriving in Manado. “The Russian side is quite serious on this matter. And this is a valuable opportunity for North Sulawesi which is wellknown as an area of coconut producer. Therefore, all the related agencies have to do good coordination and to calculate the alocation for export needs, in particular this Russian market,” Sarundajang insisted.
The Governor expected to have an open ‘pivot trading’ for the commodity of coconut derivatives with Russia, that will give a positive influence/effect to the local enterpreneur and the farmers in North Sulawesi.
“This is a good chance to be used by our producers and farmers in North Sulawesi. I ask Trade agency, Agriculture Agency and Planning Board to be pro-active to facilitate this project,” said the Governor before flying back from Domodedovo Airport in Moscow to Manado.
